Janise Cooper Design Consultants Interior Design Consulting and Procurement Relocated in 1996 in Las Vegas from Los Angeles, the firm has offices in near Palm Springs, CA and Las Vegas, NV.

JCDC is a boutique full-service interior design consulting firm with worldwide projects to date totaling more than $500 million. Janise Cooper has formed a consortium of talents to provide a level of design expertise that is sadly lacking today. We are comfortable to perform full turnkey or minor updates. We offer full-service in-person design in-person one-on-one appointments as we have for forty years but starting in December 2020 we will offer "e" virtual design services. This allows clients to visualize their room with 3D rendering with no contact and "shop our looks" from our shoppable boards on our new website. Watch for more updates as my partner Kate Cook joins in developing this new branch of our firm. We will of course still consult for our original hospitality roots but as we have discovered this profession always requires reinvention. This program will certainly adapt for any renovation at commercial levels as well. The full company name remains Janise Cooper Design Consultants.

Memory of work in 2008 for Yates-Silverman. Wish this job had gone ahead! I miss working on these creative projects. 1 in 4 projects never get built for financial reasons.

Sorry to hear about Jimmy Buffet. I consulted for Yates Silverman on a Margaritaville Hotel šŸ«¢šŸ˜²šŸ˜²šŸ˜²2008 with fun-themed restaurants such as the 5 o'clock bar below. I traveled to the site as it got to the second story but alas the economy halted it as did my employment. I marveled at Jimmy's merch machine- all those blenders, etc. Got to go to some concerts, etc. What gets me is he was my exact age- But I stopped saying it is 5 o'clock somewhere 33 yrs ago

Donna Almerico of Donna Almerico Design of Elmhurst, IL passed on Feb 7th. She was my dear friend and mentor and taught me the design ropes as both Barbara Cummings and I worked with her at Richard Honquest in the early 70's. Despite my move to CA, she remained central in our life long after that period. She was a beautiful person inside and out who would also listen, laugh, and understand. Her home was published and her firm was well-known for its talented enterprises. Her daughter Lisa joined her in later years until her retirement.

Sorry to hear news about Toby Keith. When Kate Cook Design Consultant and I consulted for Friedmutter Architects 20 yrs ago we worked on a Toby Keith Bar that was to be in a Harrah's in Indiana. It was to be similar to below. What I remember was that every wall was to have a screen embellished with his image. Sadly I see out of the original 19, only two now exist in Oklahoma.
