🍎hello everyone🍊
i was honored with the chance to test this adorable pattern called the “apples to oranges” caridgan pattern by and i am in love with how it turned out! there were so many cute ideas that came to mind when i intially started, but the name of the pattern stuck with me. some may say it’s unoriginal of me to use the title as my inspiration, but i just loved the concept and wanted to make it real and in front of me.
i ended up following the XXL size for this pattern, but the sleeves i made a size S. it just fit my body type best since i have smaller arms with a wider torso. plus i personally like the feeling of a wide body and tighter sleeves.
this was my first time ever doing a tester pattern and it was so fun. will definitely be doing more of these once commissions are complete.
thank you to everyone who gave their input and thank you to crochet for this amazing opportunity.

hi friends :)
this is a dragon fly tank top i made last summer, but never posted. i’m not sure why because this is probably one of my favorite tops i’ve made. it laces up on the sides and ties on the top so it is adjustable! i used k+c cotton yarn which is my favorite cotton yarn to use because of how soft it is.
i based the dragonfly pattern off of my colorful dragonfly sweater. i didn’t really follow a pattern, i mostly made it up as i went.
perfect for a beach day cover up or causal summer outfits, this top is timeless and comfortable to me.

sorry this took me awhile to get out! i recently started a new job and have been very busy. here it is tho, part 4 of my blanket commission.
this pattern looks and sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is. once you get the idea of it, it was fairly simple to follow along and replicate.

i have another throwback project from december 2023. i made this for my papa for christmas that year and idk why i haven’t posted it! i dont have a picture of him wearing it unfortunately, but he loved it!
before my time, he had an auburn lab named rusty that he loved so much. i thought a sweater with a rusty on it would make him smile and he did.

part 3 is here!! today we’re working on the basket weave square for my blanket commission.
it’s a fairly simple pattern, but it does take some time to get through it. i adjusted it to my needs so this won’t be for everyone’s needs. the square is 12 x 12 inches.

i was going through my camera roll and i found this old project from 2023 that i never got around to posting.
this sweater i made for my friend izzy and i loved it so much i started one for myself (that i never finished lol). the pattern was so fun and I enjoyed making it very much! it did take some readjusting, however it’s an easy enough pattern to figure out.
