Today Iluminación Lawrence team members, Vilma Martinez-Dominguez, Brad Buschur, and Karen Ristuben got to talk to Tracy Corley of Mass Inc. about what lighting and projection has meant to the City of Lawrence. They talked about how it started, what public/private partnership looks like, where community and creatives play a role in downtown revitalization, and how creative placemaking goes hand-in-hand with transformative transit-oriented development (TTOD).

September 13, 2018 is a day Merrimack Valley residents will never forget. Lawrence and the affected cities work every day to recover and make better what we lost that day. Iluminación Lawrence is proud to work with the City and its partners to celebrate how far we've come together, as a community, and looks forward to bringing light on all the beautiful things Lawrence has to offer.

Join the community tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, at Stadium Plaza to unite, remember, and celebrate the one year anniversary of the Merrimack Valley Gas Explosions.

We are deLIGHTed to announce that Iluminación Lawrence has met and surpassed our crowdfunding goal of $30,000! We raised $30,400 with the help of 46 wonderful “patrons” who did not take the Patronicity crowdfunding campaign as a LIGHThearted matter… To that, we say “Thank you!”

Puns aside, this is all especially exciting because MassDevelopment will be matching our $30,000 with another $30,000 in the form of a grant!
