Busy day today. For a couple years we have compartmentalized the in ear monitor system for Yacht Rock R***e. A RF main rack (IEMS and RF Handhelds) for the band and a second smaller RF rack for the background vocalists. As we have the additional singers more often it was time put it all in one place.

I colluded with Roadcase Dot Com to build the case after the excellent work they did on my Midas M32R case. I had some very specific requests regarding dimensions, foam, and handle placement. Since this case is only traveling in a ground loaded cargo trailer it doesn’t need the same amount of foam.

I highly recommend their craftsmanship.

Yacht Rock R***e released a Live Album this week that was recorded by Athens Sound (mostly Zach Wetzel), co-produced with YRR, and co-mixed with Gerry Hansen. We spend every day with these guys and couldn't be any happier at the way it turned out. We've been off the past two weeks from touring and are using the time to re-design and re-build the touring rig to keep up with the desires of the band.

Yacht Rock R***e sound checks with Eddie Money for a 70's & 80's style variety show that we call the Yacht Rock Revival. They bring in all the original singers and all songs are performed as close as possible to the original recordings.

5000 TrueValue employees enjoyed the music Eddie Money, Player, Ambrosia, Looking Glass and Matthew Wilder.

No more apple boxes to increase the height of the PA. It's actually too tall for the small events it's tasked to reinforce.
