Proudly presenting my 2026 Art in Bloom DC installation with textures of cerulean blue representing the flow of the Potomac River water through the design. Beiges represent the land in the Map Mural, and deep reds highlight the driving routes through DC and surrounding area. The Andersons so loved their driving escapades in their collection of early model cars so I had to incorporate a vintage car and their photo in the design. Loved how studying the details of the artwork sparked my creativity around the design. So fun! Many thanks to the organizers for all of their work in bringing this event to successful fruition yet again.

Presenting my Art in Bloom DC 2026 interpretative floral installation of the Driving Route Mural depicting Isabelle and Larz Anderson’s favorite driving routes through DC and the countryside circa 1909. I was inspired by the Potomac River running through it all sustaining life in this region. It was so fun to include an antique car and a photo of the Andersons on an adventurous driving path. So grateful to all of the organizers for a fantastic collaborative effort. Special thanks to all of the contributing florists who pour their hearts into creating beautiful floral displays that highlight the gorgeous works of art collected by the Andersons in their worldly travels. You must go see the magic through 3-22-26! https://www.artinbloomdc.com/2026
