A few months ago a client had contacted me regarding some commission work. He had saved a cabinet from the old grade school in Lena that was in need of repair. You can see in the picture the face frame was in pretty rough shape but with a fair amount of work I was able to give it new life. Not only did I give the face frame a face lift, I hand made all 16 doors from lumber the client supplied, from rough sawn lumber to polished cabinet doors. It was pretty cool working on something I likely walked by several times as a kid when I attended the school and never looked twice at.
