Kettle Art is gearing up for their annual For the Love of Kettle 2026! They offer blank boards for local artists to create on; the art is donated to the fundraiser event to raise money for the gallery. Participating artist will qualify to participate at their Love of Artist event where artists can submit a few pieces for the showcase. At that event 100% of the sales goes to the artist as a thank you for participating in their fundraiser.

Sometimes as an artist you need to pick and choose projects for the exposure. Yes, learn to say no when the project is wrong for you but also be open to a yes even when the technical ROI is bad but an opportunity can be there. Sometimes you need to take a chance to get eyes on your artwork and your name out in the public.

Belated holiday party of sorts for our Art Clubbers, Artist Alley folk, and general art buddies! Being freelancers of sorts in the modern age tends to lock us away from each other, so we wanted to throw a chill gathering for our art peers. Come join us at iCompete Experience for food, drinks, and games. Cost should be about $32/person for food (boneless wings, cheese quesadillas, salad, and fries), drinks, and games! More details incoming!

It’s a place to grow your skills at your own pace with people who understand the joys and pains of the art life. It’s the after school club that is actually a life long calling. Fully Artomatic has been hitting the road for the past five years; traveling all across the states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. We’ve made homes at several anime and comic book conventions across five major cities (Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, Tulsa), becoming a destination for artists of varying skills and age at these events.

We cater to all degrees of artistic skills. A day for us will range from helping a budding artist with how to hold a pencil to brainstorming with a seasoned creator about the nuances of visual storytelling. We aim to mentor young creators to become working professionals; where we can then become equal collaborators.

Starting in 2013, we do our best to be a strong source of artistic knowledge for our customers and friends. We draw our knowledge from our years of experience and our formal education. Luan has a BFA in Communication Design from The University of North Texas with a minor in English (creative focus); Ruby has a BA in English from Texas Tech University with a minor in Studio Art. We are both working artists; appearing in various galleries and entering all sorts of art shows. Luan has a day job as a designer; working in graphics, video, photography, and branding.
