i had a lot of fun with this abstract watercolor landscape! i’m a big color lover—but sometimes just a bold splash creates the perfect accent. it can be the perfect way to create energy in a space that otherwise is more neutral or muted.
whether in a home office, living room or dining room—this modern landscape can set the tone you are looking for.
the original watercolor painting “Flash Forward” is 8x10 and available. various print sizes to come.
👉 can you see the coastal inspiration?

this abstract landscape painting is a serene place i like to imagine myself in. funny how creating art can be such an escape. while painting i often listen to music. however most of the time i don’t even recall any songs that played because i was in a ‘mediative space’ or ‘the zone’. time just flies and i truly appreciate that part of my art journey.
👉 this original small watercolor painting still needs a name (feel free to gimme any suggestions!) but is available! i will also be doing prints for it soon. so DM me if interested. enjoy!

Doing Something with Soul, Creativity, and Love
Inkwood was created by husband-and-wife Tom Bradley and Laura Frizzo out of their love of creativity and passion for hand crafted lettering and art.
Tom and Laura’s professional careers — both in print and digital design — have spanned 20+ years. Creativity has always ran in their blood and now they feel so lucky to do what they love with the one they love!
In 2016, Laura had been dealing with some chronic health issues that had unfortunately taken her away from her professional career. As a distraction and an effort to stay connected to her creativity, she started a personal project called ‘Words A Week’. She would select a word, or words, each week and create a hand lettered sketch, illustration or artwork of that word, quote or saying and post it on social media with the definition and reason why it connected with her that week.
After receiving such tremendous support from family, positive response from friends and hearing, “you should start selling your work”, they decided to start Inkwood as a way to do just that. No matter what the medium, this duo puts their heart and soul into each and every design.
If you don’t find what you are looking for feel free to contact them!
Fun Fact:
The first word that kicked off the ‘Words A Week’ project was "MERAKI" which means "doing something with soul, creativity, or love" — when you "put something of yourself” into what you are doing, whatever that may be. Which also perfectly describes this new venture.
