π¨ There is an entire chapter in 's Tiny Experiments book called The Power of Intentional Imperfection. And I think, especially since it follows the chapter about procrastination, that it's a really good read.
π¨ There's a story in this chapter about not trying to be number one, but going for "strategic mediocrity" instead. It's the same sort of idea that chasing vitality (in social media or business) doesn't actually get you what you want. And trying to be the best all the time takes you right into burnout territory.
π¨ Imperfection is a much more attainable, and interesting, goal for creatives like us anyway.
