This was my first time trying out outlining before I did all the other colors/details. 1000/10 recommend and this soft blue is my current favorite color to use

Why do I paint at night after a long day of teaching? On weekends? On breaks when I should be relaxing?

Because this is relaxing to me. I’ve spent all of fall break “working” for my small business and turning over windows for my clients. But not once did it actually feel like work. It was calm, soothing, peaceful time spent in the beautiful weather Georgia graced us with this week. For me, this was more of a break than just about anything else.

Days 2-3 of Fall Break
A combined 14 hours of painting at two different locations for one client. Same design elements, slightly different layouts due to a different arrangement of windows.

Not once did it feel like work though. I could spend every day doing this 😌

Fall Break - Day 1
It’s time for my fall turns overs and I’m tackling 3 job sites this week! While the weather has thrown a bit of a wrench in my original timeline (this was all supposed to start Saturday), we hit the ground running today by base-coating 2 different stores.

Nothing like a good paint peel to finish up a good window painting job

When your little man is turning 6 and loves all things Pokémon, you go a little crazy making his birthday banner 🤷🏻‍♀️

Time to paint some spots for a simple little border 😊

10 hours over 2 days and I’m absolutely in LOVE with these windows!!

I think I’m really going to love window painting, especially when it’s not a thousand degrees every day 😅

In honor of Cow Appreciation Day, it seemed like the perfect time to reveal my first ever window painting job!

I did this last Wednesday at the Chick-fil-A of a very close family friend. I did a total of 9 windows over the course of 10 hours. I couldn’t be happier with how these all turned out and how smoothly it went, considering I’d never painted on glass before 😅

Stay tuned tomorrow when I reveal the set of windows I painted today from someone who booked me on sight while I was painting at Chick-fil-A!

As I work to expand the scope of my business, I am looking to build my window painting clientele.

If you are (or know) a local business interested in having your storefront windows painted for an upcoming promotion or just to help draw some attention, I will be offering a discounted rate to the first 3 businesses that book with me as I build my portfolio.
