Meckley Brooms has been crafting household brooms, over 100 years, spanning 6 generations, crafting on the same equipment from the 1800's, adding only a colorful flare, and a few more twists of creativity, but never sacrificing that old fashioned quality.

✨ The glamorous life of a broom maker… 😂🧹

Everybody loves seeing the finished brooms, the braiding, the old equipment, and all the pretty broomcorn…

But nobody talks about what’s UNDER THE TABLES. 😳😂

Broomcorn. String. Dust. Scraps. More broomcorn. Things I’m pretty sure have been hiding under there since Tuesday. 🤦‍♀️

So this morning, instead of making brooms, I got the exciting job of CLEANING THE SHOP. Crank up the music, speed up the video, and suddenly it looks like I’m way more enthusiastic about cleaning than I actually am. 😂

It’s not all glamorous around Meckley Brooms—but somebody has to keep this place from disappearing under a mountain of broomcorn!

🧹 Be honest… are you a “clean as you go” person, or a “let it get bad enough that you have no choice” person? 😂👇

I already know which team I’m on.

Apparently there is a RIGHT way to lay out broomcorn… and then there’s my way. 😂🌾

Brett’s OCD kicked in the second he saw that my broomcorn was NOT perfectly straight, evenly spaced, and lined up like it was reporting for military inspection.

Meanwhile, I’m over here thinking:
It’s broomcorn, Brett. It’ll be okay. 🤣

Him: “Why wouldn’t you just make the rows straight?”
Me: “Because I enjoy watching you twitch.”

Thirty years of marriage, folks. You learn how to keep the spark alive. 😂

So tell us — are you Team Brett: STRAIGHT ROWS ONLY 📏
or Team Briana: IT’S FINE 🌾😂

Apparently our TikTok followers aren’t just watching… they’re taking notes. 😂

After we posted the video showing our completely FORKLESS silverware drawer, one of our amazing followers showed up with a surprise:

🍽️ A homemade meal
🍴 AND A WHOLE PACK OF FORKS.

😂😂😂

Forget flowers. Forget chocolates. At this point in broom season, bring food and clean forks and you’re basically family.

We laughed SO hard. Thank you for feeding the broommakers AND addressing our current fork shortage. 😂❤️

This might officially be the funniest and most thoughtful response to one of our videos yet.
