Drums of Heaven... these perfectly crispy chicken drumlets drenched in a spicy and tangy sauce. Each bite will take you to the heavens! Yum...!
Recipe:
Chicken:
- marinate the chicken drumlets with chilly powder, corriander powder, salt, pepper powder and some curd. Keep it for about 3-4 hours.
- then coat the chicken with rice flour ( which is spiced with same spices and salt as above) followed by egg wash followed by blitzed corn flakes.
- fry the chicken in medium hot oil for about 5-7 minutes until you get a nice golden brown coating on the outside. Always check one of the pieces to make sure it is cooked inside as well.
Sauce:
- in a pan (high flame) with 2 tbsp veggie oil, sauté onions and longitudinally sliced green chillies.
- add pepper powder, salt followed by ginger garlic paste ( you can use sliced garlic and ginger also).
- then add chilly powder and dhaniya powder followed by 100ml water.
- mix well for about 3-4 minutes, reduce flame to medium.
- now add soy sauce 2 tsp as well as tomato ketchup ( 4-5 tbsp) and schezwan sauce (2 tbsp) . You can also add red chilly sauce instead of schezwan sauce.
- mix well and continue cooking on low-medium flame. Cover with lid and allow to cook for about 10-15minutes.
Now masala is ready. Add the fried chicken into it and mix well and finally add fresh chopped cilantro ( corriander).
