This is the third and final part of widescreen lenses and the inventions that came out of Rochester, New York to enhance Tinseltown a.k.a. Hollywood’s movie experience.

We make these miniature documentaries for entertainment and education, if we find a perspective on history that hasn’t been fully realized, we will do our best to bring it to the forefront. In the meantime, we’re gonna keep preserving motion picture film that was manufactured in Rochester and we’re gonna keep celebrating the history, Rochester and the companies from there brought to motion picture Hollywood.

Ghost, 1990. Starring the late Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg, and others about a young couple madly in love when a tragic mugging kills Sam played by Swayze, which leaves Molly played by Moore grieving and without closure.

When Oda played by Whoopi is summoned by the ghost of Sam debunking her con artist persona and gives her a sense of purpose to connect Molly and Sam together. The film also answers lots of questions about death and the afterlife hence the name “Ghost” for a movie title. Although you have to be forgiving to the special effects these days, this is an emotional love story with a touching message.
