Our client’s firepit overlooking the ocean was imagined as a place for pause — where conversations slow down, the horizon quiets the mind, and the warmth of the fire gathers people into moments that feel both intimate and infinite.

Design, at its best, isn’t only about aesthetics.
It’s about how a space holds life — the laughter of friends, the silence of reflection, the stories unfolding under an open sky.

As Blaise Pascal once wrote:
“All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.”

Perhaps spaces like this make that a little easier.
