Some projects unfold in phases, and this backyard has been worth the wait. Construction wrapped last year, and after taking a little pause, we’re officially back to bringing this outdoor space across the finish line. We’re now sourcing furnishings and layering in styling details to transform this beautiful pool and backyard into an extension of our client’s home. Consider these photos a little preview of what’s to come, as we hope to have everything complete in time for the clients to enjoy every inch of this space next summer!

There’s a lot that happens between having an idea for a room and bringing it to life. The design board helps us define the overall direction, the material samples let us see how everything actually looks and feels together, and the floor plan makes sure it all works within the space.

This photo brings me back to the first project I completed after stepping away from my full-time career in healthcare. It was a season filled with equal parts excitement, uncertainty, and endless learning. Every decision and every install became another lesson in building not just beautiful homes, but a business rooted in intention. Looking back, I’m reminded that growth rarely happens all at once. It unfolds project by project, challenge by challenge, until one day you realize just how far you’ve come. This space will always hold a special place in my heart - not only for the design itself, but for everything it represents.

For this sweet girl’s room, we chose a twin daybed with a safety guardrail - a simple detail that makes a big difference. It provides security to help prevent nighttime tumbles, and as she grows it can easily be swapped for a standard bed rail. It’s the perfect balance of safety, comfort, and timeless design, making this a piece she’ll enjoy for years to come.
