For many campers, bread making is a favorite. They make it together each day and on Thursday they get to do it on their own. They take such pride in remembering all the steps and are ready to become bread masters at home !

Making pesto roso pasta this week was so much fun! We grated the cheese, picked the fresh basil leaves, drained the sun dried tomatoes, measured the olive oil and the pine nuts and blended everything together! We then made our own pasta and shaped them. The best part? Eating the fresh pasta together!

We enjoy cooking with our young campers so much! We love how focused and engaged they are and it’s wonderful to see how proud they are to share the food they made during camp with their families. Kids Cook Eat welcomes children as young as 3 years old in a warm and caring environment perfect for first time campers.

Spring break cooking camps are just around the corner! The weeks of March 23rd and March 30th are fully booked, but spots are still available for the weeks of April 6th and April 20th. We're welcoming kids aged 3-11, and together we'll bake bread, cook seasonal veggies, whip up cakes, and even make ice cream! Camps run Monday to Friday, 9am-2:30pm, in Silver Lake.
