PROCESS: MICROBE COLLECTION

We’ve been casting our plaster forms inside balloons since 2013.

Our Microbe Lamp base is then dyed with hand-mixed colors and stippled with our signature MICROBE PROCESS we designed in 2016.

A unique pattern of raised rings emerge as the dyes collide and spread across the porous base.

We finish our MICROBE LAMPS with a handmade cotton paper shade.

Our processes evolve alongside our Material. We continue to take inspiration from the organically formed patterns inherent in our material to create shapes for new pieces.

LIGHTING

In a former life, I was a jewelry designer, so there’s little surprise that I’ve found that certain gravity drawing me back to making “jewelry for the home” LIGHTING!

Dazzling colors and non-repeating patterns have long been our studio’s calling card, but the added illumination is what’s really capturing my imagination these days.

Explore our Meta Pendants and Table Lamps and keep an eye out for a new series launching later this Spring!

Can’t get enough of this glossy citrus squeeze. Took our MATRIX FLUSH MOUNT back into the studio to color match for a new piece and still pucker every time I walk by.

SUNSHINE DAY

Our CALIFORNIA TABLE basking in some gorgeous morning light

The translucent resin table reveals ombres and color shifts as you move around it.

We make pieces that continue to unfold as you live with them. This piece in particular is activated by changing light as its colors shift throughout the day.
