The next interior design tend for 2024 that I will briefly highlight on today’s post is:

Modern English Cottage Interiors:

These year’s trends truly speak to me! I’m not too big on following design trends as they tend to date your home and get boring fairly quickly. However this year it’s giving timeless interiors which are my personal fave. ☺️

This trend captures a cozy, rustic charm while incorporating contemporary design elements.

⚪️ Very European look. You’ll notice this trend a lot in kitchen designs ; built-in hutches, inset cabinets, butcher block countertops, vintage inspired lighting fixtures and rustic touches like exposed wooden beams.

⚪️ Lots of details in this style of design; lots of layering of color, textiles, plush furnishings, botanical accents, and earthy tones mingling with soft pastels all creating a timeless and nostalgic effect that feels welcoming but also new and fresh.

⚪️ Thoughtfully curated décor such as handcrafted ceramics, botanical prints, and woven textiles add character and warmth; while modern amenities seamlessly integrate with the cottage’s historic charm, offering a comfortable and stylish retreat.

The next interior design tend for 2024 that I will briefly highlight on today’s post is:

Monochromatic/ Monotone interiors:

Another one of my favorite trends for this year! Anything that looks and feels luxurious are my faves 😍
What does this trend mean? It means that your furniture textile color exactly matches your wall paint color. And it looks fabulous!

⚪️ this trend does well in living rooms, dens, and offices. The trick is to have your sofa or sectional against the wall so it all blends in nicely together. It even makes a room feel more spacious since there are no definitive lines.

⚪️ use velvet, corduroy, linen, and leather as your upholstery fabrics; it will give you that highlight in your monochromatic interior. Elevating your space through luxurious textures and tones.

The next interior design tend for 2024 that I will briefly highlight on today’s post is:

RICH COLOR PALETTE:

Speaking of bold interiors, it’s the perfect segue way to introduce a few points highlighting how you can partake on this rich color palette trend. Which I’m living for!

⚪️ If you’re planning on renovating or redecorating soon, consider a bold color palette such as burgundy or plum, an emerald green or a navy blue; even chocolate brown! Why? Believe it or not these moody tones can brighten up a space; creating a timeless, regal, and elegant interior.

⚪️ you’ll be seeing this trend throughout furniture, wall paint, textiles, and small home decor items.

⚪️ dark and moody color palettes work best in small closed off spaces such as powder rooms, butler’s pantry, office, or laundry room. Having free range to color wash the room; meaning paint the entire room that one color - walls, ceiling, trims, and doors. A stunning effect!

⚪️ colors like burgundy and plum pairs very well with wood tones, neutrals, and creamy colors.

This is a trend I am definitely on board with ♥️

The next interior design tend for 2024 that I will briefly highlight on today’s post is:

BOLD INTERIORS

⚪️ What does that exactly mean? It means that accent walls are out!! (Thank goodness 😅) That wallpaper that you have on one wall… run it all the way through my dear. All 4 walls. Trust me it will be stunning when done right.

⚪️ Have an accent colored wall and the rest are white walls? Nope… time to paint the town with that one color! Paint All the walls. Consider even painting the ceiling and all trim and molding with that one color and it will look timeless; when done right of course.

⚪️ Bold colors are in. Watch out for Plums, Burgundy, and Chocolate Brown interiors. Sounds intimidating, I know. But these tones set the mood for regal, timeless, and luxurious interiors.

As we explore the different trends this year has to offer; I’d like to point out that I’ve noticed most trends are conveying a timeless aesthetic. Which is very appealing and refreshing to see.

On today’s post we will briefly hit key points on using Mid-Tone woods.

Mid-Tone Woods:

⚪️ very easy to pair mid-tone wood flooring as they are not too dark nor too light.

⚪️ pairs well with almost any wall color palette, furniture and accessories without it clashing.

⚪️ timeless lasting finish.
