Kids are always watching, even when we don’t realize it.

If we want our children to build healthy screen habits, it starts with us. Leading by example matters, but so does understanding the apps they use, what draws them in, and the potential risks they may face online.

We don’t have to know everything about every platform, but we do need to stay curious, involved, and willing to learn.

Parenting in a digital world starts with being present, setting an example, and keeping the conversation open.

Looking for an easy idea for dinner this week?

Spaghetti squash is in season and is a fun way to switch things up in the kitchen and make a simple weeknight meal feel a little more special.

Standing firm in our faith doesn’t mean we have to argue with everyone or focus on everything that’s wrong with the world.

It means knowing what we believe, trusting God’s Word, teaching our children His truth, and living it out in our homes and everyday lives.

We can stand for biblical truth without being harsh. We can be courageous without being combative, and we can hold firmly to our convictions while still showing love and grace to others.

Culture may change, but God’s Word remains true.

Let’s be women who stand firm in our faith, lead our families with wisdom, and reflect the love of Christ in the way we live.

We can be both courageous and kind. We can stand firm and still lead with grace.

Maybe you've been holding it all together lately: the schedules, the meals, the needs of everyone else, and the worries you haven't said out loud. You keep showing up because that's what you do.

But friend, you were never meant to carry it alone. It's okay to be tired. It's okay to cry in the car, to say "I can't do this today," and to ask for help. Weakness isn't failure. It's where His strength shows up.

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you." (Psalm 55:22)

So take a breath, set it down, and let Him hold what's too heavy. The dishes can wait, and so can the to-do list. You are loved, you are seen, and you are not alone.

Save this for the day you need it, or send it to a friend who's been carrying too much.

A little pumpkin napkin fold for your Halloween table!

Sometimes it’s the simplest details that make a table feel extra special. This cute napkin fold is easy to create, doesn’t take much time, and adds such a fun, festive touch to your table setting.

Grab a linen napkin and give it a try! You might be surprised by how easy it is to make something so pretty.

Save this idea for your next fall gathering, and let’s make our homes a little more welcoming, one detail at a time!

You were prepared for a career. But were you prepared for home?

Many of us grew up hearing, “You can be anything you want to be.” So we earned the degrees, built the careers, and worked hard to become educated, independent, and successful.

And there’s nothing wrong with any of that.

But somewhere along the way, homemaking became the thing nobody taught us.

Then one day we found ourselves with the husband we prayed for, the children we longed for, the home we dreamed about, and a whole lot more responsibility than we ever anticipated.

If you’ve ever felt a little ill-equipped, it’s not because you’re lazy. It’s not because you’re failing. It’s not because you don’t love your family. You were prepared for the workforce. You just weren’t prepared for the work of home.

Friend, it’s time to change that.

I’m so happy to introduce The Welcome Home Homemaker’s Club, a community for faith-filled, hardworking wives and mamas who want to grow in their homemaking without having to figure it all out alone.

✨ A place to learn

✨ A place to be encouraged

✨ A place to find your people and fellowship

✨ A place to remember that the ordinary work you do every day matters deeply to God

Because home is more than a place. It’s a ministry.

For a limited introductory launch, you can join for just $7/month, and this launch price will never be offered again.

Your home is worth investing in. And so are you.

Come on in. You’re welcome here!

Sometimes, even when we pray and believe with all our hearts, healing doesn’t happen the way we hoped.

When someone is facing serious illness, emotions can be hard enough. But when our faith is involved, it can also bring feelings of shame, confusion, and the question, “Was there something more we could have done?”

The truth is, unanswered prayers don’t mean we failed, and suffering doesn’t mean we lacked faith.

Sometimes, we’re left with grief, questions, and a lot of emotions to work through. And those feelings deserve compassion, too.

Some days you'll feel like you're thriving, with the candle lit, the counters clear, and soft music playing. Other days you'll look at the pile of laundry and quietly walk the other way. That doesn't mean you're bad at homemaking. It means you're human.

Loving your home isn't about how much you enjoy scrubbing the bathroom. It's about the peace, the people, and the memories you're building inside those walls. The chores are just the way you take care of that.

So do what you can today, even if it's just one small thing. Put on a worship playlist, set a 10-minute timer, and call it a win. Grace over perfection, always.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." (Colossians 3:23)

Which chore do you secretly avoid? Tell me below, no judgment here.
