It started over 15 years ago when Eunice began helping her dad's Korean rice cake shop making traditional dduk (rice cakes) selling to Korean supermarkets and walk-in customers. And in 2016 she started her own brand making floral rice cakes by bringing over concepts from Korea to the US where no one was doing it at the time. These floral designs became popular for celebration events like baby's 1st birthday, 100 day, weddings and more. But after the baby and her lease expiring, she decided to stop selling her floral rice cakes. But at least now we can share her years of work and passion for Korean rice cakes to millions of people. How to make baekseolgi (백설기) rice cakes also known as dduk:

- 1,000g of rice flour (found in Asian supermarkets)
- 600g water
- 26g salt

Mix with hand to break up clumps. Then sift through a strainer. Then you have your wet rice flour.

Mix wet rice flour with 10-15% sugar, adjust sweetness as needed.

Using cake rings fill any shape. Don't pack and press the rice flour but let it just fill up naturally and tap against the counter gently to fill any gaps. Steam for 20 mins and let it rest 5 mins. Ready to eat to enjoy for the day. Won't be good the next day or if refrigerated.
