This year I've been able to make a few awards and gifts for my work. These handmade, personalized items are higher quality and more thoughtful than the average award or retirement gift.

Just finished up 2 fun custom projects for Valentine's Day!Even though we didn't use bourbon barrel wood, we still had a good time creating these!

The first was a plaque (not the bad kind 🪥) for a dentist. The second was a ribbon medal display for one of those crazy people who enjoys running.

In late 2023, we decided to venture into the craft fair world. We set the goal of doing three events in 2024. We blew our goal out of the water! We did 7 events and had a ton of fun!

We've both learned a lot about the things we make and have grown a lot as crafters. We're excited about 2025 and continuing our growth!

Here's some of our favorite things from 2024!

Finished the year off with two really cool custom projects!

First, a retirement gift for a coworker on quarter inch oak. It might not be bourbon barrel wood, but a quick coat of poly gave the wood tons of character.

Second, a 5 pair boot rack with a shelf. This project was challenging and fun! The back was made from barrel lid pieces and the shelf was a piece of wood special to the customer.

I learned a lot from both of these projects and got to use some new tools! I'm always up for a challenge and would love to take on whatever ideas you have!
