Found this awesome blanket about 9 months ago and knew it would be perfect to repurpose into a balloon jacket for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta ! 🎈✨ And it was a HIT! ❤️ I love giving secondhand finds a new life and turning them into something fun and unique!
Now I’m enjoying the countryside views via Amtrak 🚆🌾 before busting out some new projects for the Glendale Crossing Festival, Inc. on Saturday, October 17! 🧵✂️
I can’t wait to meet lots of new people, share my creations, and shop all the amazing vendors! 🛍️💕 Who else will be there? Come say hi! 👋🎉

Today was pick up day from the Kentucky State Fair which was very exciting! Even more exciting than my first blue ribbons was these two notes that werte attached to my items. I'm super proud of this your submissions and already can't wait until next fair season ♥️🎡

✨ Fair Results Are In! ✨

The last few months have been filled with prepping, creating, and getting my Kentucky State Fair projects ready, and I’m SO excited to finally share the results! 🎉
I entered 25 items and came home with 12 ribbons! 🏆And, of course… I’m already dreaming up ideas for next year’s ! 😍✂️🧵
Here’s to creating, , and giving old things a whole new life! 💕

AI usage is a super hot topic right now-did you know that one AI query uses up to 40mL water? In contrast, it takes approximately 2700 liters of water to make a single cotton shirt. And the kicker? There is approximately 92 million tonnes of global text thrown away each year. 😱
This year, I have made it a goal to upcycle as many projects as possible by giving second-hand items a new purpose along with using fabrics that I have discovered at estate sales! ♻️

I am officially obsessed✨️ with the Gracie pattern from The Bold One. This make is an absolute dream!
🧵 The sew was jncredibly easy, straightforward, and satisfyingly quick. I made a few minor adjustmenrs to enclose the seams to makes the inside look just as beautiful as the outside!
