What a great day I had. started off a little ruff with my car loaded for an on site job and my car battery died, but I used my husbands truck. I upholstered a shadow box 77” x 185“ with an extended cross in the center, with a velvet for a local community church. Pastor Mike was my helper for the day. He operated the scissor lift, handed me tools that I needed and made great conversation for 5 hours. It truly was a blessed day.

Just delivered some new cushions for a clients favorite reading spot. Love the new blue damask fabric. I had fun making the new baffled down filled back insert. Feathers everywhere, but so worth it.

I just finished reupholstering a pair of wing chairs. They where okay, but they are very regal now. I can’t wait to see them in their very formal dinningroom.

Delivered my last project of the year yesterday. Loved seeing the newly reupholsteered chair and ottoman in its proper place and just in time for christmas

I have one client that has owned 3 different airstreams and she has had me cover the mattresses like a cushion and custom pillows. Well this last one I think is the best. I even did a custom room divider. Sorry I didn’t take a picture of the divider. The black pillows are from the first airstream I did for her.

Installed some tall Unlined sheers today. They hang so beautifully and finish the room.

These panels i did for an out of town designer for a home in Fresno. They are made from a gorgeous linen print fabric, lined and hung 175” up. Everyone is happy

Finished and delivered a pair of chairs for a Santa Cruz designer for a Madera client who moved to Fresno. The chairs changed from an eggplant micro suede with A LOT of nailheads to a very cool pebble like fabric. Love how they look

Just delivered and installed a one way hand draw blackout panel to hang over a bypass shutter. You ask why and how do you do that? Well the client said too much light came through the shutters in her master bedroom and I had to create custom brackets that would project out 8”. I’m happy to say client and designer Karlene Ryan are happy

Just installed 4 cordless Roman shades that I fabricated for a lovely client. This is her small turret breakfast room and she wanted the fabric to be the same color as the walls. I knew they don’t look like much but there was a lot of unique obstacles that required new techniques to be used and a lot of hand sewing. We are both thrilled that they look great. I can’t wait to see the next step for the room which will be new beautiful wallpaper on the ceiling

Just finished an install of a very wide motorized shade that I made. Used a new rechargable motor from rollease, plus super quiet. Loved how everything went together and operates.
