We’re starting the next session of Quilting One February 14th! Saturday mornings!

Come learn how to quilt! The pattern used in this class is now a tried and true beginner friendly quilt! I love how much fun you can have with it!
This session, was so kind and sent me fabrics for everyone to use!! I’m sending out the choices to students next week (so sign up for the class now!)

Modern Quilt Coat workshop starts January 14

New this session, you can choose your coat pattern. The class description has suggested patterns to use.

Quilting knowledge required. We’ll walk through making a muslin version of your coat to verify sizing and the look of the coat. Then, we’ll go through quilting and assembly.

January Workshops

Quilted Shoes - starts January 7! We’ve hit halfway full!! Make sure you grab a spot soon. (P.S. I have to order the shoe sole kits by the end of this week. If you want to guarantee your size for the first class please sign up ASAP!)

Modern Quilt Coat - starts January 14! Still plenty of space. Come make a fun coat with me. Quilting knowledge required, no garment experience required.

January’s Monthly Mini is already full and starting a waitlist! (Thank you for signing up!!)

FPP Anything! Create your own foundation paper pieced pattern. January 17. I’m so excited for this one! It’s one a one day workshop where I’ll teach you how to create a FPP pattern from a photo or graphic. Possibilities are endless; buildings, logos, pets, letters….

I’m SO excited about this upcoming workshop!!
Quilted Shoes workshop in January.

We’ll create sneakers from a fat quarter sized quilted panel. Workshop fee includes a shoe kit - soles, eyelets, templates, waxed thread, glue, and sole stitching needle.
To give me enough time to order kits (around the holidays) I am requesting students send me their shoe size by December 17. Which means sign up now!

Hi friends!
Sale happening on my website www.quarterlifeleap.com through Monday November 24! Last chance to get small handmade items and prints!

As we approach the end of the year it’s time to dig in and see what’s going on with business finances. This year, I’m trimming expenses by down grading my website. Which means starting December 1st I will be increasing the pricing structure (5% for physical products & 8% for digital downloads). I will also be limiting items listed for sale on my website, quilts only. We’ll see how this goes. There is a possibility that I take down the store in its entirety or only do a couple drops a year.

I have been focusing on workshops this year. It has been incredibly rewarding and I’m excited for a full 2026 of teaching. That also means I haven’t been creating as much art or pieces that I’m willing/able to sell.
Thank you all for continuing to support me and my creative business! I’d LOVE to see you in class soon! (Early 2026 workshops are up on website!!)

This is a two part beginner friendly Foundation Paper Piecing class. I will walk you through how to FPP, with tips and tricks to help you succeed! Pattern is included, you can choose either the original Color Wheel Quilt or the Tree Skirt version.
This is also a great class for those who know how to FPP, but want more repetition and skill building.
