The gallery will be open this Sunday from 11 - 4 pm for the annual Open Gallery, but if you can make it between noon - 2, I'd strongly recommend it!

Make Music Madison is on the same day and I'm so excited to feature a few musicians at the gallery. We have a diverse lineup of music from contemporary composers to the classics!

You are welcome to drop in and out any time during the performance - no pressure to stay for the entirety!

When I opened my home gallery, my hope was to make art part of everyday life again. Painting became my main creative outlet, but music has always been just as important to me.

For years, I painted solo and played music solo. It wasn't until I started playing with a friend that I discovered something I'd been missing. Creativity has a way of growing when it's shared.

That's why I'm excited to participate in Make Music Madison. On Sunday, June 21, from noon to 2 pm, the gallery will be filled with both paintings and live music from local performers, bringing together two art forms that have shaped my life since childhood.

I'd love for you to join me. And if you're a music lover interested in performing, I'd love to hear from you!

Ever wondered what an artist's studio looks like?

During the Open Gallery, you are welcome to take a peek behind the scenes and tour the studio where I create. Spoiler alert, it does NOT look like this 99.9% of the time 😅

You'll see works in progress, creative tools, and the environment where ideas become finished pieces.

This year, for the first time, I'm participating in Make Music Madison during the open gallery. And I want to invite you to be a part of it!

The live music portion of the event will be from noon to 2 pm, and we have an exciting classical program from Liminal Aberration from 1 - 2 (more info to come soon!) I want to open up as much of noon- 1 pm to the public to anyone who wants to play.

Whether you are a beginner or a pro, your style is classical or contemporary, you're 9 or 99, my space is open to you. There is an acoustic piano, and a Chinese instrument Guzheng at the gallery. You're more than welcome to bring your own instrument.
