We are working with our partners, and this week, proceeds from our Nepalese pieces will be donated to rescue efforts working on the ground following the severe flooding on the Nepal-Tibet border.

Our hearts are with all those who have lost loved ones, homes, livelihoods, and a sense of security. We are holding deep gratitude for everyone working tirelessly on the ground to help their communities heal and rebuild.

We recently connected with a new studio in Uzbekistan that is creating meaningful work for over 150 women, all while ensuring the ancient tradition of embroidered suzanis lives on.

Suzanis were historically created by the nomadic peoples who populated the ancient Silk Road. Traditionally, these were crafted as dowry pieces—lovingly stitched by a mother to bless her daughter’s wedding day. It was believed that the patterns and colors held talismanic powers of protection, magically transferred from the mother to the fabric through the rhythm of her needlework.

We invite you to explore this beautiful collection online and at our shops!
