Through our fair trade partnerships, their work can create a sustainable livelihood. Purchasing their handcraft pieces allows these women to stay in their communities, care for their families, and continue to keep their traditions alive 🍃🌏🧶

We have a new collection of handmade brooch hearts and sugar skulls, just in time to celebrate Día de Mu***os and Hispanic Heritage Month! These stunning brooches are meticulously embroidered using materials such as beads, stones, sequins, wires, yarns, and fabrics. From a women-owned studio in India - They are a testament to nature’s beauty and a beautiful piece of wearable art. 🧡💀💐

Tag along as we visit a small rural community in the Bolivian Andes for our Hispanic Heritage Month spotlight!

Meet the Andean Warmis, a group of women working together to bring weaving back into their lives. While this area of the high Andes once boasted a rich, vibrant weaving culture, much of that heritage had been lost over generations as families shifted their focus strictly to agricultural work.

We are deeply honored and excited to bring the work of the Andina Warmis into our shop with a curated collection of alpaca throws, expertly woven on their pedal loom. Crafted from alpaca yarn, these pieces feature an incredible hand, beautiful drape, and comforting weight—making them the ultimate home accessory for cooling autumn temperatures.

This month, we are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by shining a spotlight on our artisan groups across Latin America, kicking things off with Peru. From handwoven, naturally dyed throws made in the Sacred Valley by our friends at the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, to the softest baby alpaca scarves and handcrafted leather bags, a rich cultural heritage shines through every piece!

We are working with our partners, and this week, proceeds from our Nepalese pieces will be donated to rescue efforts working on the ground following the severe flooding on the Nepal-Tibet border.
