Well, now that it’s off to a forever home, I am happy to share my latest project. A truly one of a kind (because free handed 90% of it) hanging flower pot holder.

I wasn’t really sure what direction to go when I was asked to make it, but by spite and trust in the process something really beautiful came out!

When you have 6 extra skeins of yarn that you are not vibing with, so you start making a Christmas present. Started as a five point star, and now we’ve shifted to a ten point. The final result, to be seen.

Since I don’t do videos of my work, as I work, I’ve decided that with this particular project I’ll be updating as I finish a skein. We have finished one and started a second. The additional points are actually coming through and it makes me intrigued…

Edit 2: We finished (and started) the next rows. Sitting at 44.5” [roughly] from an original corner to an original corner. We still have 5 skeins of yarn to go- so who know how big it’ll end up before the bordering 😅

I made my first ACTUAL wearable piece! I’ve learned several things, one of which being I dislike making wearables, but it came out so cute! A great experiment in b yarn stash busting

I have so far left to go on this experiment. I’ve only made one wearable so far and I made it too small, now I’m making one for me and it’s taking forever!

Oh hey there hi there ho there!

I know I’ve fallen off the face of the earth for a hot minute- dealing with life and work and just a low amount of inspiration, but I’m still here and still making things.

Recently I’ve made a star blanket (a major trust the process) and I have a few large things on the hooks.

Raising funds for the community is always a blessing, regardless of if I am crocheting or just being able to attend. If you’re going to be in the Twin Cities on June 6th - highly recommend going and showing support for local designers and the community at large

Is it done? Heavens no! Did I buy more yarn to finish it? Yes! Is this as much as I plan to do until the additional yarn arrives- absolutely!

Fifteen hours, one restart, and a thousand options of what I’m doing and I think I know…do you?

I traded the six point to five because it felt better, I don’t have a ton of rainbow yarn left, but I have plans! Stay tuned for what this thing will become…if I don’t change my mind again 🤣

We had a fabulous Mother’s Day weekend seeing friends and family we haven’t seen in a year (or more), but we are finally home and that drive took longer than we expected. Time for regular life to restart!

It’s Mother’s Day Friday, and my husband and I are on our way to marathon the parentals! Working on a hexagonal piece that is going to be a few experimentals.
