I found an old decoy drawing I did back in middle school before I started carving. Last night I started to sketch it on my iPad to make some changes and in the future I’ll carve it.🐟🐠🎣

I want to go LIVE on facebook whenever I’m carving or painting but I can’t yet, facebook says I need to get to 100 followers in order to start going LIVE 🙄lol

I got some fishies drawn and cut out on cardboard, going to be drawing more, this is going to make it way more easier to draw out my fish on some wood so I can cut them out.

I've been working on a Collaboration with Uncle Leonard, this is one of many fish decoys he had finished but never put any lead in it yet or painted it, so I decided to take on the challenge and paint it today, I was hoping to make it look like a brown trout but currently I'm not sold on my choice of colors 😂 but usually after I'm done adding all the details it comes to life and then I actually love it. If all goes as planned, I might be able to enter it in the Great Lakes Fish Decoy Carving and Collecting Association show this year, it would be an incredible opportunity to do something like that with Uncle Leonard Nelson. ❤️🐠 I will post it again once the fish is finished!
