This is one of the very first tattoos I ever did, and a very special one.
It was the first with this much detail, and the biggest I had done up to that day.

I was so nervous that I forgot to take better pictures, but here is one of the tattoos after a few years of healing.

The mom came first with the design idea, and then came the daughter.
I got to tattoo such a beautiful design for a mom and daughter to remember for the rest of their lives.

I can’t wait to see them again and see what other ideas they have in mind.

Este es uno de los primeros tatuajes que hice, y uno muy especial.
Fue el primero con tanto detalle, y el más grande que había hecho hasta ese día.

Estaba tan nerviosa que olvidé tomar mejores fotos, pero aquí está uno de los tatuajes después de algunos años de sanación.

Primero vino la mamá con la idea del diseño, y luego llegó la hija.
Pude tatuar un diseño tan bonito para que una mamá y su hija lo recuerden por el resto de sus vidas.

Que chimba verlas de nuevo pa ver qué otras ideas tienen en mente.

One day three crazy friends came to my house and filled my day with laughter, gossip, and the adventures they lived together while studying to be chiropractors. Today I miss them and wish they would come visit me again so we could laugh together like on that summer day. If you know them, tell them I would love to see them again. 🦴 🩻 🌼

I’ve been tattooing on and off for about 4 years now.
This is an art that has demanded a lot from me, and I’ve been afraid of it because of what it means to earn someone’s trust and leave a permanent mark on their skin.

Body paint taught me to respect the human skin as a canvas, because it’s where the story of our life gets written.

It’s where we see the scars from the falls we took while learning a new skill, the stretch marks from when our skin needed to expand for our bodies to grow, and the record of time passing through wrinkles and freckles we weren’t born with, but earned through living and sun exposure.

Thank you to those of you who have trusted me with your skin.
It’s been an amazing ride 🖤✨

He estado tatuando intermitentemente por casi 4 años.
Es un arte que me ha exigido mucho, y le he tenido respeto y miedo por lo que significa ganarse la confianza de alguien y dejar una marca permanente en su piel.

El body paint me enseñó a respetar la piel humana como un lienzo, porque es donde se escribe la historia de nuestra vida.

Ahí se ven las cicatrices de las caídas mientras aprendíamos nuevas habilidades, las estrías que aparecen cuando el cuerpo necesita crecer, y el paso del tiempo reflejado en arrugas y pecas con las que no nacimos, pero que llegaron con el sol y la vida.

Gracias a quienes han confiado en mí y en mi trabajo.
Ha sido un viaje increíble 🖤✨
