Hello All.......We have been tardy in providing updates because we have been working diligently to get a property ready to lease. We have decided to suspend our retail operations and therefore regret to announce we hav closed our booth at the Queen of Hearts. Following is a catalog of available items being shown as staged items in our remodeled property. Thanks to everyone who have followed our creative efforts and please stay tuned......not going away, starting a new chapter!

I am pleased to announce that I have been once more chosen as a finalist for Black Dog Salvage "Maker of the Month" contest for my charcoal hall tree made from a vintage door and various other up-cycled pieces salvaged from yard sales and thrift stores. Featured this week is another Almost Original Design with this fantastic drop leaf elliptical shaped console table. This piece is from a Queen Ann coffee table and some very old and beautiful oak turned legs with a hint of old paint in the grain where they had once been painted. The design plan was to paint these legs to match the rich chocolate color the top and skirt have been painted, but they were just too beautiful with the strong oak grain, we decided to preserve that character and clean them up and poly coat. Love the elliptical shape of this table, and the drop leaf design adds both style and functionality. This table would make a fantastic addition behind a sofa, in an entry hall or just about any place adding richness and elegance to your home or business.

Featured today is this gorgeous upcycled dinette set ...... table is from a Duncan Phyfe pedestal painted 💋Red! The top is from a solid wood coffee table my neighbor gifted to me, which has been transformed into the beautiful elliptical shape (I 💙 ellipticals .... don’t know why, I just do) dark walnut stain in color. The vintage chairs are solid oak, completely re-glued, painted charcoal and covered with whimsical patch work fabric custom made by my 89 year old mother who has made more than 200 quilts.....no one getting cold in my family😎

Featured this week is yet another Almost Original Design high quality upcycled item in this vintage door and tall console table combined into this beautiful hall tree. It is painted a rich charcoal color accented with black hardware, crystal k***s, an oak framed beveled mirror and last but not least a repurposed vintage desk drawer mounted below the mirror as a handy place to throw your keys or simply admire its beauty!

Switch Out Sunday complete..........virtually everything in our showroom has been switched out with almost originally designed and built, repurposed, upcycled unique offerings.........vintage door hall tree, sleigh bed bench, drop leaf console table, side table set made from antique desk towers, black desk with beautiful black/silver office chair, burlap covered chair stools (4 to choose from) and this beautiful Persian blue solid wood collection........annnnd last but not least is this solid wood dressing table with a matching blue grass vanity chair!
