Did you know that I don't follow a pattern for my goose outfits? I don't even follow a stitch count... which may actually be a little sketchy. This means not every outfit of a size may be the EXACT same size. They may be a stitch or 2 off from each other. I mostly eyeball it 👀. I have a 14 inch goose, and I just stitch what feels right. I know the biggest goose needs at least 35 stitches, depending on yarn, and a desk goose needs 10 stitches.

While its not a perfect system, it's working for the geese, and this cute cat!

Another order finished!!! This goose outfit is being delivered today!

I am so thankful to be able to create, and sell all the pieces that I have. I am blessed every single time I see what ive made being used and loved. This isnt a business that will make me rich money wise, but I am most definitely rich in blessings!

I think when we follow after God it's like that sometimes... we value the riches of money and ease, but its the riches of obedience and following God that are biggest of blessings! I didnt want to waste the talent God gave me, and in turn, He has caused my cup to overflow!

I didn't post Monday because I was making a rush order!

I can finally reveal what has consumed my week!!!

Back in November I had an order for a baby blanket. Well today the gifter had her own baby shower today!!! It was only right to make her a baby blanket as well.

For quite some time I agonized over what to make.... I guessed from her registry that the theme was western. (I talked to her earlier this week and asked, even though this blanket was half made lol) I had so many ideas, and so many things I wanted to try. In the end, time was the factor. I have had the blessing of quite a few orders recently, and just couldn't get crazy with a new pattern.

So this is a simple block stitch. I LOVE it! It was so easy to maintain stitches, and not lose track of where the edge is. This may be my go to for blankets from now on. The color possibilities are endless! The border choices are endless!

Anyway, the color theme is meant to represent the desert. The brown earth, and the green bush and cacti. Then I learned his name this week! That's not my business to share, but it is incorporated into the blanket!

As a finishing touch I added the lovey! I didn't want it to look exactly like the blanket so I did the reverse. While the blanket is meant to represent the desert, the lovey represents the cactus in an upclose look. The green of the plant, and the thorns.

My mind is a wonderland! My mind is always thinking of weird ways to represent different aspects of life. Here I've explained a blanket and lovey, but I am full of ideas and have all kinds of stories about why things look the way they do.

May God bless this little boy, protect and guide him. May the joy of his life refresh his family, and lead him in the way everlasting! Welcome to this life little guy!

I am struggling to decide what is best for me and my business, and I truly am struggling with just not wanting to go. Just being honest! I have a lot on my plate, and I can't seem to work up the excitement to sit in the heat 🥵

BUT if that what customers want, I will do it. So I need your vote! Are you comparing what I make with the other crochet vendors there? Is it based off price? Are you even going to the market?

I chose these 3 shades of green for a project. Yes I know the middle green looks tan, but I promise its a sage green!

Anyway, I'm a little disappointed by how they look within the project. Crocheted within a tan yarn, they are really hard to tell apart. I dont understand how this is working, but the struggle is real!

I'm too far into the project to change colors now, and too invested to undo the hours I've put into the project. And even though these colors aren't doing exactly what I thought they would, its still a beautiful project! I can't wait to share, and even plan the next color combo!
