Featured Product of the Week: Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (168494)

I have to admit…today’s card went through several iterations before I finally landed on this design. But I couldn’t be happier with where it ended up!

I started by stamping the card base with the pine bough image from the Noel Tidings Stamp Set. Then I used the Magical Christmas Hot Foil Dies to emboss the background of my focal piece.

From there, I layered several pieces of DSP scraps (we ALL have them, right? 😉) and some ribbon underneath one small image from the ephemera pack.

And just like that…another Christmas card was done!

I love how something as simple as a single ephemera image can become the focal point when you build the rest of the card around it. A little stamping, a few scraps, some ribbon and a premade image—and you have a card that looks like you spent much longer making it than you actually did!

Featured Product of the Week: Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (168494)

Today’s card came together SO quickly! And honestly, I love cards like that.

I took four images from the Season of Celebration Ephemera Pack and clustered them together on a few strips of retired DSP, added a sentiment, and placed the whole thing on an embossed background.

And just like that…another Christmas card was done!

I especially love being able to pull out some of my retired stash and give it new life alongside current products. We all have those retired papers, embellishments and supplies sitting around just waiting for the right project, right?

Hopefully this inspires you to use what you already have on hand instead of letting those older favorites sit in a drawer. Sometimes the perfect pairing is hiding in your stash!

Featured Product of the Week: Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (168494)

Stampin’ Up! has so many products designed to fit whatever kind of crafter you are. There are step-by-step kits for beginners, quick & easy products for those who want to try something new, and then there are products for avid crafters who love to take an idea and make it completely their own.

This week, I wanted to demonstrate one of those quick & easy options—but with a little twist to show that even avid crafters can make these products their own!

This week’s Featured Product is the Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, and it was SO much fun using these pieces as a jumping-off point and then adding a few things from my stash to create some pretty cute Christmas cards.

For today’s card, I took two of the images from the pack and clustered them with a few circles from the Spotlight on Nature Dies to create this card in some non-traditional Christmas colors. It’s amazing how a few circles, a little cluster of images, and a greeting can turn into a card that feels completely finished!

Featured Product of the Week: Simply Sentimental Stamp Set (170050)

We’re wrapping up the week with another card that I’ve CASEd more than once — and it always seems to be a hit!

This time, I decided to change things up a bit. Instead of using the layout the way I normally do, I turned it on its side and used a color I don’t reach for nearly often enough: Fresh Freesia!

For today’s card, I:
*Cut 2-1/2-inch squares from the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP.
*Stamped a focal image on a square of the same size and colored with Fresh Freesia and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
*Matted each square with coordinating cardstock.
*Placed them on a Basic White background embossed with the Textured Tree Ring 3D *Embossing Folder — one of my favorites and, sadly, another product on the Last Chance list.
*Heat embossed the Phrases & Frames sentiment on Old Olive cardstock.
*Backed the sentiment with Fresh Freesia Satin Ribbon.
*Finished everything off with Old Olive embellishments.

I’m definitely going to miss that Textured Tree Ring folder. I reach for it a lot, so seeing it on the Last Chance list makes me a little sad!😢

Featured Product of the Week: Simply Sentimental Stamp Set (170050)

Sometimes when I’m stuck for an idea, I pull up an old card I’ve made and CASE myself!

Today’s card was CASEd from a card I created back in October of last year. I loved the original design, so I gave it another go using the Simply Sentimental Stamp Set.

For this version, I:
*Stamped the floral image in Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock for a subtle tone-on-tone background.
*Stamped and colored the focal image using Golden Glow and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.
*Added a little splatter to the background using my Golden Glow Shimmer Brush.
*Cut the focal image and mat using two of the nesting Everyday Arches Dies.
*Wrapped Golden Glow Ribbon around the arches.
*Added a sentiment from the Phrases & Frames Stamp Set.
*Finished it off with coordinating Golden Glow dots.

I love how changing just a few colors and details can give an old favorite a completely different feel!

And yes… CASEing yourself absolutely counts! Sometimes it’s the best way to get those creative juices flowing again.

Featured Product of the Week: Simply Sentimental Stamp Set (170050)

Today’s card is a little more elaborate — and definitely has a different feel from Monday and Tuesday!

I went with a classic black, white and red color combination that would work great as a wedding or anniversary card.

Here’s how I created it:

* Stamped the floral image and colored it with Real Red and Peaceful Pines Stampin’ Blends.
*Stamped the image again onto Post-it Notes, cut them out and used them as masks.
*With the floral image masked, I stamped the script and line images around it.
*Tore the edges of the cardstock to add to the vintage feel.
*Used a Blending Brush and Basic Beige ink around the edges for even more of that vintage, aged look.
*Added decorative corner pieces using the Beautifully Celebrated Dies.
*Foiled the sentiment using the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies.
*Finished it off with the Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon behind the sentiment

Featured Product of the Week: Simply Sentimental Stamp Set (170050)

Sometimes an old card design is just too good not to revisit!

I originally created this exact layout back in 2019, and when I was looking at the Simply Sentimental Stamp Set, I thought it would be perfect for a duplicate. Why reinvent the wheel when you already have a layout you love?

For today’s card, I:
* Stamped the images along the right side of the card.
* Added a 3/4-inch strip of DSP along the right side.
*Used Gray Granite Ribbon to separate the stamped area from the DSP.
*Finished it off with these adorable Adhesive-Backed Blooms.

Simple, clean and easy to recreate!

Featured Product of the Week: Simply Sentimental Stamp Set (170050)

In deciding what I was going to create for this week’s posts, I looked through my stamp shelves and realized there was a set sitting there that I’ve had for a while but somehow had never featured.

Which is how you are only just now seeing the Simply Sentimental Stamp Set! 😂

Please tell me I’m not alone in having stamp sets sitting on the shelf, lonely and forgotten — for no reason other than being overlooked by all the other shiny, new products that keep finding their way into my craft room!

After that realization, I decided that even though we’re officially in full fall mode, this beautiful stamp set definitely deserved its moment in the spotlight.

Throughout the week, I’ll be pairing it with some of my favorite products that are now on the Last Chance list. So if you see something you love, you may want to grab it before it’s gone!

For today’s card, I:
*Stamped the large focal flower image and accented it with the coordinating shimmer brushes for a little extra sparkle.
*Added a hot-foiled leaf image to the Shimmering Stripes Specialty Paper for the background.
*Added a large bow with the Peaceful Pines Ribbon behind the focal image.
*Finished it with a Get Well sentiment and a few coordinating dots.

Featured Product of the Week: All Wrapped Up Suite (168490) 🎁

And we’re wrapping up the week with another non-Christmas card made with a holiday suite!

For today’s card, I started with one of the beautiful Specialty DSP patterns from the All Wrapped Up Suite as my background.

I stamped and colored some of the greenery images and placed them along the left side of the sentiment circle adding a few greenery die cuts in for some interest.

But something was still missing…

So I went digging through my stash and pulled out the flower images from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set. And honestly, I think they were just what this card needed!

Featured Product of the Week: All Wrapped Up Suite (168490) 🎁

I started today’s card by stamping the background with one of the images from the All Wrapped Up stamp set using Gray Granite ink. Then I ran the cardstock through the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder to add another layer of subtle texture.

For the focal point, I randomly stamped three different images onto four 1-1/2-inch squares. I arranged the smaller stamped pieces to create one larger focal image!

Now for my little ribbon hack…

I wanted to put some of the red and white ribbon behind the Anniversary sentiment, but the ribbon was just too wide for what I had in mind. So instead of abandoning the idea, I cut the ribbon vertically and pulled individual frayed pieces of the red stripes apart.

It gave me exactly the amount of texture and interest I wanted behind the sentiment without overwhelming the card.

Sometimes you just have to cut things up and make them work!
