There are custom pieces, and then there are pieces that carry a story.

This bookshelf was inspired by a photograph our client shared with us, a piece her grandfather made for her grandmother many years ago. 🥹

We loved the idea of taking that family memory and creating something new from it!!

We built this piece from solid white oak, finished with Rubio Monocoat ,wave trim details with the help of our friend Plano Sawmill .

Maybe one day, many years from now, someone in her family will look at this bookshelf and say, “My grandma had this made for her.” ❤️

That’s the kind of furniture we love making.

We just love how Pecan wood has this unique grain pattern and how beautifully it absorbs the stain, creating different tones and variations throughout the wood. 😍

The nightstands are also completely customized to our client’s space.

This is a true heirloom piece, made entirely from solid hardwood and built to stand the test of time for decades.
