Today’s the day, creative or not this event is about putting a smile on the faces of those living in nursing homes.

You may or may not know this about me, but I lived in a nursing facility for 4 months, I was the youngest resident and made some very sweet connections. Some of them were so lonely and sad… they either had no family left or family was too busy, or lived far away. Just sitting at meal times and talking with them, or doing a puzzle with them meant so much.

A handmade card may seem small, but to someone who feels alone, it can mean everything. It becomes a reminder they can look at every day—a little spark of kindness that says, “You’re not forgotten. Someone cares.”

Sunday, November 16th come any time between 12pm-3pm. All ages/abilities are welcome

✨Canvas Bags for Cause
This event will be offered multiple times.
Decorate a canvas bag that will later be filled with essential items and small comforts from our community wish list that will later be donated to individuals and families in need.

Join Diane and give your mug some personality in this Ceramic Gnome Mug workshop! In this workshop you’ll create a gnome mug. Using various techniques Diane will show you how to make a handle, use score and slip, carve a beard, attach a handle and create a face and hat using coils.

This is a beginner friendly class.
