Multi tasking in the shop……working on a few projects!
😉 A 13 foot beam……had to re-work the shop in order to run these thru the planer but now I am in the staining phase.

😉 Picked up the Oak slabs and started laying out the “Round Dining Table”!

😉 Working on a couple of new “collections” for for Fall

Sorry that I haven't posted for a couple of weeks.......I have a new "Shop Supervisor" after my daughter and grandson paid a visit from North Carolina!
My daughter felt I needed a companion/supervisor.......I had no choice because "Evy" chose me! Meet "Evy"!
There are projects in the works and I will update shortly!

About a month ago I “pre-maturely” introduced a piece that I was excited about, but after looking at it I said to myself that “Anyone can do that and it does not live up to my “Woodrunner” standards of creativity!

Sooooo…….I took the 18” piece that I had taken out of the silicon mold and decided that I would inlay the entire piece into a 22” round slice of Oak.
Because I colored the epoxy black (to be dramatic) I decided that I would also use black in the Oak round!
On the top portion I used a black stain that I then sanded it only leaving the black in the larger grain pores of the wood…..giving it the black striped effect!
The round is mounted on an 18” cast aluminum pedestal frame.
