Ever wonder what’s underneath all the ribbon, greenery and decorations on a full wreath?
I start by filling my evergreen base with mesh. I learned this technique by watching other wreath makers, and it gives me a good, full base to build my design on.
From there, I decide where my sign will go depending on its size—sometimes in the middle and sometimes off to the side. Then I add my bow, ribbon along the sides, greenery and picks.
When I think I’m getting close to finished, I stand back and look for any little holes. If I see one, I’ll cut smaller pieces of greenery or picks to fill it in.
And eventually you have to look at it and say, “Yep, that’s enough—leave it alone!” 😂
