A heart cake isn’t just dessert — it’s a sweet declaration of love. Soft, tender, and beautifully frosted, it turns any moment into something unforgettable.
Ingredients :
250 g all-purpose flour
200 g granulated sugar
120 g unsalted butter, softened
3 large eggs
120 ml milk
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
For the frosting:
250 g unsalted butter, softened
400 g powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Red or pink natural food coloring
Instructions :
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and line a heart-shaped cake pan.
In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before removing from the pan.
For the frosting, beat the butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, then milk and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and fluffy. Add a few drops of food coloring and mix until the desired shade is reached.
Spread or pipe the frosting evenly over the cooled cake. Decorate as desired.
