My dear delicious readers,

Bonjour! I’m excited to reconnect with you after a period of absence. Over the last 18 months, my family and I have faced some significant challenges. For over a year, a family member has been dealing with two ongoing serious health issues, which has forced us to make tough adjustments in both our culinary choices and life priorities. Then, in late November 2024, we faced the devastating loss of my father. I’ll share more details about that when the time feels right.
These experiences have deeply disrupted my daily creativity. Learning to accept this new reality, adjust to evolving family dynamics, stay hopeful, and plan for a complicated future really took a toll on me. As I reflect and try to move forward, I need to recognize how these shifts have led me to reevaluate how I approach cooking—not just as a creative outlet, but as a way to nourish both body and spirit during such a difficult time.

The kitchen remains a happy place: a source of joy and curiosity. This is why I am still here, and I hope you stick around. :)) There is so much more to cook, photograph, and write about. I hope we eat together, somewhere, soon!

Thank you for your continued support and patience during this time. I’m truly grateful to have you along on this journey, and I can’t wait to share what’s been cooking up in my kitchen.
