To the mothers carrying love with nowhere to place it today…
Bereaved Mother’s Day is for you.
For the mama who held her baby in her arms.
For the mama who only held them in her womb.
For the one who got years.
And the one who only got moments.
You are still a mother.
Not “almost.”
Not “would have been.”
Not “someday.”
You are.
Your grief does not make your motherhood any less real.
Your broken heart does not erase the love.
Your child existed.
Your child mattered.
And so do you.
Today is for the mothers who keep living while carrying the unbearable.
For the birthdays that ache.
The empty arms.
The silent what-ifs.
The names forever etched into their souls.
Some people may not see your motherhood.
But heaven does.
Your heart does.
And so do we.
To every mother grieving a child today:
You are a mother.
You are seen.
You are deeply loved.
And your baby will never, ever be forgotten.
