Why did many athletes and people who monitor their health began to resort to a new phenomenon - “meal prep”? The thing is that most of us are prone to various temptations to eat, many do not have enough willpower or time to prepare and eat only wholesome food. To facilitate this task, people began to prepare food for several days in advance in accordance with their needs and in compliance with the principles of proper nutrition.

What are the benefits of preparing food?

🥬 A prepared supply of food will help avoid the use of harmful foods. Your meals, distributed by meals, will help you stick to your meal plan, so when you get hungry, your wholesome food and snacks will be at hand. Thus, instead of buns, cookies, sweets and other unwholesome foods, you will satisfy hunger with healthy food.
🥦 Compliance with calorie intake. Since your meals are already prepared according to your daily calorie needs, you don’t have to worry about rushing to satisfy your hunger. In addition, if the food for dinner or lunch is not yet ready, there is always the temptation to eat something unprofitable: a budterbread, a bun, convenience foods or even sweets.

for a few days, I was craving something sweet.
here I decided to book a daily meal for a cheat meal, but my dessert went out to be extremely healthy;)
This happens when you go to a healthy lifestyle, only the beginning is difficult, then it becomes a pleasant routine;)

So here is the recipe for my healthy oatmeal Brownies:

130 g oatmeal flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
175 g unsalted butter
200 g sugar
125 g cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
3 large eggs
chocolate chips, nuts, dried or fresh fruits, whatever you like to add

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees (350 F), and lightly grease the pan.

Combine the oat flour with the baking soda and set aside.

In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter.
Once melted, add the sugar and cook for another minute.
Remove from heat and add the cocoa and salt. Stir to combine.
Add the eggs one at a time. Whisk fully so that the mixture is smooth and glossy.

Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Stir in the chocolate chip, nuts or fruit you like.
Spread the mixture into the prepared pan and cook for 30-35 minutes.

Let cool 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
