Σήμερα έφτιαξα τη λαγάνα μου για την Καθαρή Δευτέρα. Είναι η αρχή της Σαρακοστής και μια υπενθύμιση να καθαρίσουμε την καρδιά και την ψυχή μας.

Καλή και ευλογημένη Σαρακοστή σε όλους. Ο Θεός να μας δίνει υγεία και φώτιση. 🙏 🙏

Today I made my lagana for Clean Monday.

It marks the beginning of Lent and reminds us to cleanse our hearts and souls.

Γεια σας φίλες και φίλοι, πριν λίγα χρόνια είχα φτιάξει αυτό το βιντεάκι με τους αγαπημένους μου σβίγκους και σήμερα το ξαναμοιράζομαι γιατί οι Αποκριές είναι η πιο όμορφη εποχή για τέτοιες ευλογημένες λιχουδιές. Οι Αποκριές θέλουν χαρά, γέλια, μουσική και τηγάνισμα!

Οι σβίγκοι μου γίνονται χρυσαφένιοι, τραγανοί, και τους περιχύνω με μέλι και κανέλα μέχρι να μοσχομυρίσει όλο το σπίτι.

Βάλτε μουσική, φορέστε το χαμόγελό σας και τηγανίστε κάτι με αγάπη! Καλές Αποκριές σε όλους! 🎉💙🥳

Dear friends, sharing this sweet throwback video I made a few years ago of my beloved svigkoi (crispy Greek donuts) and what better time than now, during Apokries!

Apokries is the festive season before Great Lent in the Greek Orthodox Church. It’s similar to Carnival, a joyful time filled with costumes, music, dancing, and celebration before we enter a more reflective Lenten period.

My svigkoi turn golden and crispy, and I drizzle them with honey and cinnamon until the whole house smells like celebration. Turn up the music, put on your biggest smile, and fry something with love!

Γεια σας φίλες και φίλοι, σημερα έφτιαξα σπιτική σπανακόπιτα! Μετά από λίγους μήνες ανάρρωσης από την επέμβαση στο γόνατο, νιώθω μεγάλη χαρά που είμαι ξανά στην κουζίνα και μοιράζομαι τις δημιουργίες μου. Σιγα σιγά επιστρέφω, με αγάπη και αλεύρι στα χέρια! Σας ευχαριστώ όλους για τη στήριξη! ❤️❤️

Dear friends, today I made a homemade spinach pie!
After a few months of recovering from my knee replacement, it feels so good to be back in my kitchen and sharing my creations again. Little by little, Mama Ploumitsa is back where she belongs, with flour on her hands and love in her heart! Thank you all for the encouragement and support! ❤️❤️
