What’s on my sewing table today? A custom pillow for a couples anniversary. I absolutely love sewing these pillows. I have a few more going to my booth. Some that will be listed in my Etsy shop and if you’re local, you can just message me and I’m happy to create anything that you want. I’ve got some new designs coming with this pillow and I’ll post more about those in a day or two hope everybody’s having a good week.

Well, I have been super busy. And then we lost power for a few days and playing catch-up. But I wanted to share this pillow that was a custom order that I did and delivered last week. I love how it turned out. I absolutely love this verse and I think I’m gonna have to add that to a couple of other pillows. I have some new pillows that I am working on that, I’m hoping to have closed up by tomorrow and I’ll show pictures of those either tomorrow or Wednesday. I am gearing up for two shows that I have coming up and I’ll post more on those later but I just thought I would share this with you. Hope everyone is having a good Monday.

A batch of vintage quilt prayer crosses. I have been making these for a few years now and I still absolutely love them. No two are alike. Some of them are absolutely perfect and a few have small imperfections. Which for me just adds to the charm of these quilts. They make wonderful gifts. I have made them for weddings. I have made them for bridal shower. I’ve made them for Sunday school classes. I have made them for several different occasions. This batch will be split up. A few will be on my Etsy shop tonight and the rest will be going to a new little booth area that I have that I will be showing on Friday. Check my Etsy shop out tonight after 8 PM Eastern time and you will find them listed on there. If you have an old family quilt or a favorite quilt and you would like some things made out of it to gift people for gifts please message me because I also do that as well.

I have been slammed working in my sewing room for a few upcoming shows. I was cleaning my sewing room and have a ton of vintage quilt scraps that I just don’t have the heart to throw away. When I say that I try to use every square inch of a quilt, I really tried to use it all. It has been so hot in Cincinnati. The past few weeks or basically the whole summer, so I decided to throw some quilt scraps on some large hair clips. I thought they turned out kind of cute. There are nothing special, nothing to ride home about, they’re a little different and if you love quilts and vintage quilts, then this is for you. I’m gonna take these to my shows and hand a few out for gifts. If you want me to do a super quick tutorial on these? Let me know. I’ll be happy to do that so you can make your own.

Well it’s been forever and a day since I’ve posted! I’m adding some new trucker hats I made that are in my Etsy shop and will be in my booth this weekend. I had so much fun creating these hats. If you are a vintage lover you will appreciate the vintage lace, jewlery pieces, pins, quilt and fabric pieces.
