I’ve been so busy lately, and haven’t posted in a while. Sorry. Here’s a shower project I did a while back. It was inside a new house built about 10 years ago. As you can see from the pictures, it had been leaking for a while. I figured out why as I was demoing it. It was a fun build in the end.

Pro tip with new builds: spend the extra money and time to inspect all major steps of your dream home build. You don’t want to have these types of issues 3-4 years after moving in.

Hello friends,

It is now 2024, and I wanted to reminisce on 2023 and what a great year it was. Thanks to all of your support. I couldn’t do what I do without my work being shared, and your words. My family and I appreciate it so much.

Last deck of 2023.
Finished this a couple of weeks ago. Old deck was falling apart, literally, and my clients couldn’t even use it anymore. They wanted to remove the old deck and replace it with a simple, strong, and useable new one. The funnest part of this build was the demolition of the old one, and seeing the final product. Love demo days.

Can’t wait to see what 2024 brings.

Here’s another adventure I went on a couple of weeks ago. Just updating now. Another deck rendered structurally unsafe due to rot damage. Some of the joists weren’t even attached to anything but the decking holding them up. Replaced the ledger board, flashing, all rotten joists, all the decking, and parts of the damaged railing. Clients get to use their great deck again.

Let me know if you or someone you know has a deck in a similar situation. I’d love to get it fixed up.

Sorry for the late post. Here’s what I’ve been up to the past few days. My clients wanted a bigger deck for their growing family of 6, and to have a useable outdoor space for entertaining. I’m so glad they reached out to me, and that I was able to provide that for them.
