If I EVER say, “I’m only going to do a little…” just know I’m going to do a LOT. It’s just not in me to do a little of anything. Especially when it comes to one of the best and most vibrant seasons of the entire year! Leaving bleak midwinter behind, I know spring is on the way and I’m already getting my hands dirty in the soil and dreaming of the plants that MIGHT make it this year and hoping for the very best. 🌱 All the little 🐰 I promised myself that I’d wait until closer to Easter to set out, well…. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Whether you approach the beginning of this season with hope for all the new life and beautiful colors it will bring, or with dread over all the outdoor chores that are sure to come with it, I hope you enjoy the small things that bring the greatest joys! Taking a few moments to acknowledge the hustle and bustle (and yes, the stress) of holiday preparations. In our mind's eye we have a vision of a "perfect" family gathering. Just a simple reminder that no matter how the table looks, who surrounds it, how the day unfolds, or how the turkey tastes..gratitude draws us back to the One who provides every good thing. To paraphrase Philippians 4:6, don't be anxious, fretting over every little detail until you squander the gift of this moment's joy. Instead, pray and give thanks to the One who can take your mess and create a beautiful masterpiece. Happy Thanks-living and Thanksgiving!
