How do you eat an elephant?

This season has been… a lot. Seeds that didn’t sprout, peonies that froze, weeds that got completely out of hand, and more. But that’s how it is some times.

When I let myself think about all of it at once, the weight on my chest gets heavy. The world asks us to hold more than any one person should.

But here — in this little bubble — something shifts.

Laughter comes easier here. Conversation flows without effort. And the lightness stays with you long after we go home — the way certain memories stay with you for days.

We can’t forget what’s happening in the world…
but we can choose to step into places that make life feel less heavy. This is one of those places. And I’m glad you’re in it with me.

Last week so many things happened in the flower field!

Monday: Clear stone delivered + smoothed out
Tuesday: Gravel delivered + smoothed out
Wednesday: Trusses delivered + BINGO kicked off!
Thursday: Rest of the building supplies

And then today - right where we held BINGO last Wednesday - the frame is being built.
PINCH ME ☀️

Soon we will be hosting events and workshops under this gorgeous new building!

Next phase: window fixer upper, funny how some dreams don’t give all the dirt until you’re in the thick of it.

Got me a hot date with the fish fertilizer! 🎣💩It is the worst smelling thing ever but the flowers LOVE it! Thank heaven...

Improved driveway & the foundation for the glass house is getting set!

BINGO summer series kicks off tomorrow night in the flower field at 6PM - come join us every other Wednesday night this summer!

PS feels weird to me how neither one of these pictures shows a flower but ah well - it’s still pretty darn exciting!
