This hutch sat in my booth for more than two years.

I had plans for her from the beginning, but life had other ideas. Between work, my dissertation, and everything else that needed attention, she waited patiently while I walked past her day after day.

When I finally opened a can of paint, I realized the hutch wasn't the only thing that had been waiting.

This is a busy day of painting. First project, back to the cradle. Color blending and drying for the next step - the transfer, Fern Fables, by IOD. All paint is DIY Paint by Debi’s Design Diary. The colors used are Pedal Pusher, Prom Dress, Crinoline, and Liquid Sunshine.

Continuing the Debi’s Design Diary kit while on break. These are fun to do! Do you want to try one? Join me with George’s Station Antiques and Bistro 221 in St George on Saturday June 13th, for painting fun, some wine, and some laughs! You receive the entire Kit, which includes the canvas, the stencil, a QR code for the tutorial, paints and I’m even throwing in brushes so that you can create more masterpieces once you’ve done this one, and you received two glasses of wine with your registration. Bistro 221 has a lovely selection of wines to include some great Italian old vine ones.
