Goal for the year: clothing purchases
Last weekend: 4 purchases 😬😅😍
1. USMC shirt from .kiku - drawn in by the colors and texture, hooked when I tried it on with the rest of my outfit.
2. Vintage chore coat- It was on my goal of things to buy this year! Love the corduroy accents.
3. The perfect vintage wool blend blazer. Effortlessly walks the line between chic and casual.
4. Vintage cardigan- probably my most impulsive purchase. I’m a sucker for a comfy cardi, which is why I have so many, but I couldn’t bear to leave this one behind.

We’ll see how I do for the rest of the year! Having a goal of 5 has already helped say no to so many things. Like I said from the start, I’d rather have a goal of 5 and end up with 8 things I love than not set a goal and buy countless mediocre pieces that sit unworn in my closet. These four? No regrets.

My Super Bowl
In my final year of college I took a ceramics class and had the opportunity to throw this set of porcelain cereal bowls. They are used in our home almost daily and bring me joy every time I touch them.

Don’t tell the others, this one is my favorite 🤫

It is my hope that they continue to be used and loved by our family until each one meets its end. May they never see the inside of a Goodwill 🙏

Could the tulip vase use a second bunch? Yes.
Some moss for the urn? Also yes.
But this is real life, not “AI slop”- I’m not trying to be perfect, I’m just trying to enjoy the flowers while they’re in bloom.
