In between tasks on the brisket board, I finished the golf tournament trophies. The inscription may not be easily seen in the photo, but I think they look great with the balls now in position.

I am super pleased with how this oversized end grain brisket board is turning out! I am oiling the board now. Tomorrow after it “cures” a little I will wax and buff it with my board butter.
Can I get some comments on your perspective of the board?

Just applied a spray to raise the grain for a final light sanding prior to oil and wax treatment.

The two panels are now glued up as end grain boards. I use Tite Bond III and I don’t do it sparingly. As a result I have to clean the glue squeeze out before moving to the next step. A lot of work goes into an end grain board

And today I work on 4 golf scramble trophies. The guys will be doing their best to bring these little beauties back home from their Florida vacation.

We have oiled these boards and started the waxing process using our own wax/oil recipe. After the buffing I will install rubber feet on the bottom of the boards and they’ll be ready for delivery!9
