This color - is deceiving. These are matcha macarons whipped up on a late Friday afternoon. When hit by light, they look neon. Though normally dull-looking, these are brightened up by matcha ganache on the inside.

Thank you to my friends who always request for my baked goods from time to time. I am reminded that I am not just tied up to a desk, but can have a presence in the kitchen as well. 😉

I attended a Tyler Lockett autograph signing yesterday. I was meaning to create this macaron for him but didn’t get to finish it in time. This one was baked when it was not yet fully dried hence the crack in one of the feet. Also hastily-drawn - a draft if you will. I will recreate this this weekend and perhaps one of these days try to give him one if the opportunity arises.
