Wrapped up and delivered, this absolutely beautiful curly ambrosia maple live edge table.

Base is from Flowyline with a custom color specific to the customers desires.

Copper epoxy fill in for the knots and cracks.

Two bookended slabs. Purchased from The Lumber Shack. Sealed with our always faithful and favorite, Rubio Monocoat USA

Just about done with this live edge curly ambrosia maple table.

Recessed flush both the plates on the Flowy Line table base and the C Channels.

Sanded smooth the live edges while keeping with the natural lines

Used penetrating epoxy from Total Boat to secure some of the heart shakes on the wood, as well as the edges to reinforce the hardness from that sapwood.

Some time this week I’ll fill in the cracks and knots with some copper colored epoxy. And then sand it down smooth and, of course, apply some Rubio Monocoat!!

Finished with my favorite and most go to finish on furniture like this, Rubio Monocoat

Base is painted using Benjamin Moore Command paint for that much needed strong and durable finish

And it applies extremely well with a paint sprayer. For this application we used the Wagner Painting Wagner Flexio 3500. Specifically the fine finish applicator. And for our purposes. We didn’t need to dilute it. Just adjusted the settings until the spray pattern and thickness was just what we needed

Table base is being painted today. And it’ll get all connected together later tonight. Standby for final pictures of the assembled and completed table.

Just need to do some detailed items. Chambering the edges in the base to give it a finished look. Last bit of sanding. And need to epoxy some knots on the table top itself.
